We spotted a gem of a sailboat for sale in Portland, Maine. A progeny of the classic Herreshoff 12.5, this Joel White-designed Haven 12.5 is for sale for $25,000. It was built around 2009 at the Maine Maritime Museum school. It's a little easier to manage (trailerable with a centerboard) and roomy enough for a family to jump in and go for a day sail. This one was used for about one week before being put into storage for ten years so it's in like-new condition.
