In 2020 Garry found himself in the Caribbean with the stormy season due to arrive, a need to get home or find safe harbour for his Ovni 435, A Kind of Blue, and no crew to help him sail her home to Ireland due to Covid. A solo sail across the Atlantic is a challenge for anyone, but Garry only has one arm, so his was a true "Single Handed Sail" across.
