François Gabart (MACIF) was the first to cross the finishing line of the Vendée Globe at Les Sables d'Olonne, a world record breaking race, sailed at breakneck pace. The last 24 hours is no exception as François Gabart (MACIF) has put his foot down in south-westerly wind of 30 knots and has covered 450 miles in the last 24 hours, averaging 18.5 knots.
