We had quite a rough night anchored at Rat Cay last night and only got 2 hours of sleep. Today we are getting some exercise by hiking across to the windward side of the island. Kenzie's knee is feeling much better now and we're going to see if we can make it further than we did last time we were here. There is a trail that goes across the island to the windward side. You will know you are on the path by seeing various trash items along the way. Once you get to the windward side, you're pretty much on your own and will have to bush whack your way through the rough terrain if you want to go any further. Randall took on the challenge and hiked his way through what Kenzie would call "Spider Heaven", leaving Kenzie behind. While on Great Guana Cay we found many large spiders as big as Randall's hand, and also one lazy looking snake. We spent two days at Great Guana Cay before picking up anchor and sailing further north along the Exumas Bank.
