We visit the must see locations: Maloās creek - the giant stepping stones Formosa Beach - magnificent beach with light sand Pico alto - at 528 m is the highest point on Santa Maria - no photos as it was covered in clouds Baia do Maia - natural reserve park with natural pools for swimming Conçalo Velho Lighthouse on Ponta do Castelo, the southern most point in the Azores. Aveiro Waterfall, very impressive 100 mts drop Pereira well, beautiful wall and lake - old quarry. Bay of Anjou - The surf city, wonderful beach and small fishing village. Anjos is also the place, where Christopher Columbus make a stop on the way back from discovering the West Indies. There is a small chapel and a status of the famous Explorer.
