Everything Has to be Perfect: Preparing the Rig for Brand New Sails — Sailing Yabá

Everything had to be perfect. Before we can hoist the brand new custom sails on Yabá, the entire rig needed a massive upgrade. That meant installing all-new hardware, running a web of fresh ropes, and getting the booms and gaffs completely set up and ready for action. Between endless trips up the mast, adjusting hardware high above the deck, and double-checking every single line, it was exhausting work—but seeing the schooner's gaff rig finally come together makes every climb worth it. This is the big milestone everyone has been waiting for, and she is officially rigged and ready to receive her new canvas.
