Everyone wants to be CAPTAIN until something goes WRONG [EP 142]

55,222 Bekeken· 09/08/21

In this episode, we sail from Terciera to Sao Miguel in the Azores. I (Khiara) decided to be captain for the day and as soon as we hoisted a sail, something went wrong! After dealing with the issue in a very captainly manner, we then sailed the 90 mile stretch between the islands in beautiful but calming conditions. We arrived in the morning and the next day set off to explore the island. Being a lover of rosy lee, our first stop was Cha Gorreana, (most likely) Europe's oldest and largest tea plantation. From there we set off discovering lakes, bubbling hot springs and beautiful island views as well as some of it's amusing inhabitants! A few day later, after finishing with the fun and frivolity of exploring a new island, we got down to some work... boat work! Which has been few and far between for the last few weeks so we actually kind of enjoyed doing it. We got to work installing a repaired radar that got delivered to the marina, and to see whether it finally worked and if we'd have radar capability in future!
