Join "Moments in Time" for the second leg of the Delmarva Circumference odyssey as we depart our first night's anchorage in Reedville, VA and continued our voyage south in the hopes of making it to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. We experienced very choppy waters, rains, winds, and saw no sunshine on this leg of our journey. Delmarva stands for Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia and often refers to the eastern peninsula surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay to the west and south, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Chesapeake and Delaware (C&D) canal to the north. Circumnavigating the Delmarva Peninsula is a fun voyage to plan as you have to account for weather, winds, waves, tides, anchorages, various courses, and adventure.
