Episode 37 - Bilges, Cabinets, and Cubbies, Oh My!

Before moving anything onboard a new boat, we must document and inspect the bilges, we must know where the through hulls are located, the sonar and depth sounders, pumps, water maker, plumbing, and bits and pieces. We also identify dry and potential wet bilge storage. We measure the various cabinets so we know what size containers to buy, explore the electrical plant cabinets, and peek into various inspection hatches. We poke around the cubbies and argue who has rights to what storage areas. Taking these measurements allow us to better plan various storage options. My rule is that if we have no where to store it, it stays onshore.
