Episode 36 - Sailing to the Florida Islands- Roderick Bay

In the Solomon Islands we set sail for The Nggelas or Florida Islands as it is also called. After going through Sandfly Passage we arrive to a warm welcome at Roderick Bay. The people of the village have been receiving cruising yachts for many years now and make you feel very much at home. Also wrecked in the bay is the "World Discoverer" a well known cruise ship that hit a nearby reef. You can also see this ship on Google Earth. On our last night the village go to a lot of effort with traditional dance and food.
