Episode 35 - While We Wait!
Stay to the end to get the latest status of our Seawind 1260, “Moments in Time”. She finally arrived in the Americas. While we wait on the delivery of our Seawind 1260, “Moments in Time”, we are tying up the loose details. We search for a home marina for “Moments in Time” and finally settled on a slip, we finalized boat insurance, shopped for an outboard motor for our dinghy, started the Coast Guard documentation process, completed the initial paperwork for the importation process, customized options for rigging, and completed the ship’s bell stand. “Moments in Time” finally arrived in Norfolk, Virginia where she was splashed and motored up the Chesapeake Bay to Annapolis, Maryland. She is being rigged and commissioned. It seems so close yet so far. “Moments in Time” is here after journeying 51 days at sea.
