Episode #141 First Time Up The Mast

In this episode we receive a design from Jeff H. to assist us with a temporary support for our baby stay until we can procure a permanent fix. This is in preparation for the next leg of our voyage. Our boat came with a new bosun's chair and a new safety harness which we have never used. Vin was preparing to go up the mast but Amy insisted that ascend instead since she only weighs 120 lbs...and it is the first time Amy has ever climbed the mast on a bosun's chair and safety harness. Vin used the safety harness attached to the foresail halyard and the bosuns chair to the mainsail halyard. The purpose: to rig an extra support for the babystay until a permanent fix can be accomplished. We hope you like it!
