EP. 32 BOAT LIFE | LEVELING UP in the EXUMAS
[ SUPPORT US ON A PATREON ] https://www.patreon.com/sailingseawind [ ONE TIME DONATIONS ] https://bit.ly/3e5YE78 Our water maker is chugging away, turning saltwater into delicious tasting fresh water, and the long rope I tied onto our anchor chain underwater is holding our Seawind in a much more comfortable position. We finally feel like we are getting the hang of dealing with some of the nuances of living at anchor in the Bahamas. Normans Cay, an island once used for drug smuggling, is now our backyard. The crystal clear Bahamian water surrounding Seawind is our playground. Our quality of sleep is increasing, and the beach walks and swimming is blissful. After a few days of computer work, cleaning the boat, and playing in the water, we head south for Sampson Cay, our next destination. We sail off of anchor for the first time, have a fun upwind sail in 20 knots, find some pesky leaks, and anchor in our new backyard.
