Back underway, the seas turn bumpy, but Excelsior handles it like a champ as we push south past the mouths of Amazonian river systems. With nutrient-rich waters all around us, the fishing goes absolutely wild. Under Chui’s close inspection, Brodie lands mackerel after mackerel in one of our best fishing sessions yet. 🎣 The mood shifts when we encounter the aftermath of a fellow yachtsman running aground, a poignant reminder of the very real dangers of sailing unfamiliar waters along this remote coastline.
