E63 - Aboriginal Art & Patting a Shark, Swift Bay
This episode we leave the Mitchell River and head around Cape Voltaire and into Swift Bay to explore the ancient Aboriginal Art found in the rock caves and overhangs. Pete catches a few fish with his landing net at the back of Laylah when the fish are attracted to the light and splashing on the surface. We return to No Regrets to find a large Lemon Shark that enjoys coming to the rear transom steps to get a friendly pat. WHO ARE WE? We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022. We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change. We are just an ordinary Aussies couple exploring what this great world has to offer and hope that we can inspire others just as we were by watching other YouTube channels to follow our dreams.
