Preparing Our 52ft Catamaran for a 400-Nautical-Mile Passage (Ep. 209)

We're back in Gladstone, Queensland, getting our 52ft sailing catamaran, SV Emma James, ready for a 400-nautical-mile sail south. Our plan is to bring both boats together at the same marina (finally!) so we can get stuck into the major refit of Salloo, our newly purchased 62ft former Australian Police vessel. Before we can cast off from Gladstone, we have a list of jobs and things to do! We have to scrub Emma's hull, checking the propellers and anodes, doing oil changes, replacing engine mounts and reprovision while we wait for next week's northerly weather window. Sam is also conducting a pre-purchase marine survey on another vessel. Between boat maintenance, reprovisioning and getting swooped by magpies, we certainly have quite a week! Can we get everything finished in time to make the most of the weather window?
