E115 - We Sail OVER A ROAD! Mornington Peninsula

Leaving Docklands we tuck into the protected anchorage at Mornington to wait for weather to head further south. We find many restaurants and pubs, a jetty to make getting off and on our tender pleasant with no wet feet, and have a quick visit from Troy on his quick trip back to Australia. We visit Martha Cove and are astounded at the number of boats enjoying the water and cross our first ever canal crossing where the vehicles travel beneath us. WHO ARE WE? We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022. We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change.
