Doing Laundry on a Sailboat Ep. 30

After leaving Nassau we decided to spend a few days anchored at Rose Island before crossing the yellow bank to the Exumas. At this point of our trip we stayed on the South side of the Island. It was well protected and turned out to be a great place to stay while waiting for the wind to die down, but we found that the snorkeling was mediocre and there weren't any fun beaches to relax on. Later on our trip, we found that the North side of the Island has fantastic beaches and numerous reefs to explore, along with plenty of places to anchor. Before leaving on our trip Randall did a ton of research trying to find shelf stable foods that we could take with us on our trip. One of the products he found was Yoder's Bacon. In this video we tried the bacon for the first time and found that we really like it! We were surprised at how much bacon fit into the small can. We had lots of fun staying at Rose Island and are now looking forward to crossing the Yellow Bank to the Exumas!
