Sailing from Rhodes to Crete in Greece, planned overnight passages, Rough weather, choppy swell, and tired crew! What a sail! Its not all sunshine, bikini's and champagne sailing This week we plan our first overnight passage, but it doesn't quiet go to plan, as per usual, when you plan these things sailing! We make our way from Rhodes in the Dodecanese Islands to Crete, Greece's largest Island, but unfortunately we don't end up going the whole way, we get stuck in some pretty heavy weather and end up reverting to Karpathos But as these things go, we still had to endure hours of messy swell and strong wind to arrive at a safe anchorage!
