Day 5 of sailing from the Caribbean to France and the engine had some thoughts

Day 5. Back to working on the engine. I was trying to charge the batteries during the night when something went wrong. Looking back, I had let them get too low before charging, so that part is on me. Still… not exactly what you want to be dealing with. And of course, it happened in the middle of the night. I managed to fix it for the moment and get some charge back into the batteries, enough to get through the night and deal with it properly in daylight. The next day, another issue showed up. But this time, I was working on it in daylight for a change, which already made everything feel a lot more manageable. With some help from my very good (and very patient) online community, I worked through it step by step. And now… everything is charging properly again. Back on track. Hopefully it stays that way so I can keep the livestream running without interruptions. I’m also starting to feel better physically, which is a big relief. Not fully there yet, but definitely improving. And through all of this, the sailing has actually been kind to us. Comfortable conditions, steady movement, nothing too demanding.
