Day 3 Fleet Racing - BlackWater rises through the ranks

After only three events with the RC44 Class BlackWater Team is already posting some impressive results and shaking up the leaderboard. BlackWater team's owners, Alexander Zaytsev, Andreas Savvidis and Maxim Merzlikin are friends who met originally through Skolkovo Sailing Club near Moscow. They had the chance to sail as guests on an RC44 and were immediately hooked on the boat and the RC44 Championship Tour itself. Just two points off their first ever podium going into the final day of racing in Cascais the team demonstrates how quickly these amateur sailors have picked up RC44 racing, given the right crew and right coaching. The RC44 Cascais Cup is the fourth event of the 2016 Championship Tour, which pitts the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts.
