Lake Pueblo Sailboat Racing! (11 Apr 2026)

In this week's episode I travel south to Lake Pueblo State Park to watch the first "shakedown" race of the Lake Pueblo Sailing Club (LPSC). Shortly after the race start, severe weather moves in from the west and the winds start gusting into the mid 20s on shore (looked much heavier out on the lake). At least one boat captain I talked to after the race reported a reading of 28 kts on their boat. This was my first time attending a sailboat race and I will definitely be back for more!
