This week we leave the pearl farm and sail to Garumaoa the sleepy little village on Raroia. Kieran declares his love for coconuts and I go on a mission to save our mates hat that had flown overboard. When the hat is rescued and I’m safely back on the boat the coral head watch continues. The little village on the atoll has no more then 100 citizen living there and only one little shop, this quickly kills our lunch plans as we were looking for a restaurant. The slack tide is approaching so we have to keep moving. We are sailing to our next atoll, Makemo (no we are not in Asia). Our depth meter plays a trick with us leaving us slightly panicked thinking we would hit ground... But not to worry. Merewether is still floating till this day! Join our crew!
