CROSSING THE BAY OF BISCAY… Do We Take the Kids? | 3.5 Days at Sea

The Bay of Biscay was one of the BIG passages we knew we’d have to tackle on our journey into the Med… but there was one question we couldn’t stop thinking about: Do we take the kids? In this episode, we finally make it to Brest, stock Sea-Kat ready for the crossing, pull up the decking to check everything underneath and wait for the arrival of our extra crew member, Sam from @samsails9820 Then comes the difficult decision. With 3½ days at sea ahead of us, we decide that Lily and the girls will fly ahead while Joe, Skye and Sam take Sea-Kat across the Bay of Biscay. After all the worrying and weather watching, Biscay was surprisingly kind to us. We had good conditions, LOTS of sea time and Skye keeping everyone entertained with increasingly ridiculous games 😂 Three and a half days later, we’d done it. An absolutely epic experience and another huge milestone in our journey from the UK to the Mediterranean aboard our Lagoon 410 catamaran, Sea-Kat. Would you have taken the kids?
