COLUMBIA RIVER BAR OR BUST! [Adventure #16]

The time has come... before we get to enjoy warm, sunny sailing and sunsets in the tropics, we have to get there! The journey South from Oregon to warmer weather calls for braving one of the most treacherous bar crossings in the world, the Columbia River Bar, AKA the graveyard of the Pacific, followed by an offshore ocean passage in the North Pacific. We get our sea legs with some real ocean swells and wind, but stay far enough offshore to avoid the gale conditions closer to the coast. Oh, and we catch a big Albacore Tuna! Check it out!
