After four days at sea, we arrived into Cartagena and it was NOT what we expected! It was SUCH a wild arrival, past a crazy river and through a gap in a pirate protection wall and then arriving to the sight of hundreds of skyscrapers and city lights. The city itself is beautiful but so overwhelming after we have been used to living off grid in the Caribbean!
