Now that the world is starting to open back up, we are back in pursuit of our original liveaboard goal....cruising the Caribbean and beyond! We checked into the Bahamas on May 12, 2021 and captured the process for those curious about what it's like to clear customs in an (almost) post-covid world. AND we got the inside scoop on how to avoid the 2.5 hour wait at customs. That secret is revealed inside the video, so stay tuned! Here's the minimum you need to know before you go: 1. You can bypass Covid testing only if you are fully vaccinated AND it has been at least 14 days since your final shot. 2. If you're just shy of the 14 day period (like we were) you must provide a negative covid test upon arrival AND take another rapid test 5 days later. 2. Even if you’re vaccinated, you must pay $60 (per person) for a health visa. 3. It’s good to have a printer on-board, or print your necessary docs before you head out!
