Changing tack and setting a new course! : What the crew gets up to while the Captain’s off watch #40

Join us as we leave Naxos after our big decision and set a new course on our adventures, sailing north into the Aegean Sea. After weeks of incessant Meltemi winds we are happy to set sail on mirror flat seas and head north to get ourselves positioned to sail past Athens and the Temple of Poseidon, back towards the Corinth Canal when the wind inevitably returns. In a first for Kate, while the Captain is away from the cockpit on his off watch, she takes it upon herself to get the boat from motoring to sailing and so sets about hoisting and trimming the sails - and of course she is rightly proud of her achievement!
