In July 2017, the catamaran Tanda Malaika, with its crew of 4 kids and two adults, violently crashed into a reef while en route from Moorea to Huahine, in the South Pacific Ocean. Although experienced and highly capable sailors, they made a few key mistakes that they humbly discuss during our interview with them.
