Catalina Island Circumnavigation: Day 3 - Avalon to Dana Point

This is day three in our voyage around Catalina Island in a Pacific Seacraft Dana 24 sailboat. Our first order of business was to dive in into the fifty-something degree F water and clear the fouled prop (see the last episode. We made our best attempt to sail all the way back to Dana Point but the winds did not cooperate. On a positive note, we enjoyed several great dolphin sightings and manage to see a couple of whales (at a distance!) before returning to the slip!
