Building a Wooden Sailboat #17: Splash Guards
In part seventeen of this series on how to build a wooden Snipe class sailboat I show how to make splash guards that mount on the foredeck of the boat. I start off by making a template, and then rough cut the splash guards out of some cherry left over from making the rub rails. Next I show how to scribe the splash guards and fit them to the foredeck. Then I make a center support and show how to calculate the bevels where the guards meet the support. Finally I fasten them to the foredeck. Plans & Information: https://snipeusa.com/ https://www.snipe.org/
