Best SAIL to the Worst, Bocas here we come | EP 69 | Sailing Merewether

Rigging checks, strong winds, opposing currents and some tricky sailing conditions, make this episode like a lollies variety pack, it's got a bit of everything going on. We pick up our second hand hydro-vane from Linton Bay Marina and start heading towards what some of our friends call the surfing paradise of the Caribbean. With wind sitting around 20-25 knots we start our journey with opposing current hitting us in the face. With all these conditions combined the sea state gets messy with waves standing up to around 3-4 meters. Day two of the journey shows the complete opposite conditions, when the wind take a turn against us. With Isabelle's birthday looming we decided to motor the 50 miles left of the sail and crawl in at around 4 knots fighting the strong current and wind. Join our crew!
