Benetti Class

The first model was the Benetti Classic, and over 160 yachts have been built since 1985. A complete category of four different models has been built on the success of this experience: Delfino 95, Mediterraneo 116, Fast 125 and Diamond 145. They have all been designed and developed by famous architects, including Righini, Zuretti, Cassetta and RWD, and by Benetti’s own team of in-house engineers, architects and designers, whose skills have ensured the perfect integration of every product. The Fast 125 model, which made its debut in 2015, is equipped with Azipull Carbon AZP C65, an innovative propulsion system developed by Rolls Royce exclusively for this model. With the Fast 125 model, the shipyard has entered the yet relatively-unexplored market for sporty yachts. These vessels are extremely versatile thanks to the D2P Displacement to Planing® hull form with wave piercer bow to combine a low speed displacement yacht with a planning mode yacht at higher speeds. Specially managed by Pierluigi Ausonio with the Azimut|Benetti R&D department this technology ensures low consumption at cruising speed and high performances at maximum speeds over 20 knots.
