Back to Split, Croatia - Hiking Marjan Hill and the Biggest Game Changer for Us - Family Vlog 2022

This week we headed back to Splyt for what will probably be our last week in Croatia. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's been absolutely incredible. We took a hike up Marjan Hill for an incredible view of the whole city and coastline. There's a huge Croatian Flag and cross at the top of the hill. The hike is doable for just about anyone at just about one kilometer and it's so worth it! The views of the city and beaches are absolutely breathtaking. Check it out if you have the time! One tradition we've started is called Sailing Sundays. We find a couple or family that we don't know and invite them for an afternoon sail. We take them out on the Outremer, share a nice meal and go swimming or just get to know each other. It's been one of our favorite things to do out here because we get to meet so many great people and share this wonderful lifestyle we are so lucky to have. Plus we get to try a lot of new foods. The kids were not convinced that Vegemite is edible. The highlight of the week for us would not be a very big deal for a lot of people but getting a washing machine installed on the catamaran is a game changer for us. It's a small annoyance, but we've had to spend a lot of time dealing with laundry since we've taken to this 'boat life.' Being able to wash our own clothes is making it feel a little more like home out here. Thanks for watching, as always. See you next week!
