AST-MPA Partnership Ryan Palk Ambassador

Australian Sailing's athletes are ambassadors for MPA (Melanoma Patients Australia) with the aim to raise Melanoma awareness around protection and early detection. Hear from our Laser sailor Ryan Palk about the importance of protection and his personal experience with Melanoma. The Australian Sailing Team (AST) partners with Melanoma Patients Australia (MPA) in conjunction with team sponsor Nautica®. The partnership sees 10% of sales from Nautica’s official AST-branded merchandise go toward MPA. An additional 10% of sales go to the AST’s Road to Rio campaign and support the team in their quest to win gold medals in Olympic and Paralympic class Sailing, which will aid in raising further awareness and support for the MPA.
