All New Harken ILCA Vang System

In this video Harken Engineers and two sailors on the British sailing team discuss the new system. This year, the entirely new Harken ILCA vang system makes its debut. All three components are upgrades from our existing system that remains the ILCA/Laser Class standard after more than 20 years. The upper block is now a 25mm Fly Block with stainless balls and a unique pin shaped and angled to remain in place even under zero tension. The middle double block is in fact a Zircon Fiddle Block with a unique twist (we call it the 'twiddle' in Pewaukee). The lower unit is also distinctive.
