After a frustrating check-in process, we're finally free to experience everything this beautiful island has to offer. From snorkeling and cleaning weeks of ocean growth from the bottom of the boat to hiking up to the historic fort with incredible views, Bequia quickly reminds us why the Caribbean is such a popular cruising destination. But after crossing the vast Pacific and Indian Oceans, the Caribbean feels... different. Gone are the endless empty anchorages and weeks at sea. Instead, we're back among charter boats, crowded anchorages, and a whole new style of cruising. Is the Caribbean really the "easy life" for sailors?
