A walk around Stonefield Castle Hotel grounds

In the non-sailing season, we thought we might share a few of the best walks in the Tarbert area. This is a regular one for us, from the A83 down the track towards Barmore Island and then around the grounds of Stonefield Castle Hotel. Well worth exploring the old quay, boat house and magnificent bridge over the river. You can extend the walk doing a lap Barmore island, offering fantastic views of Loch Fyne, although it can be very wet and muddy at times.
