72 - Sailing Vanua Balavu's Inner Lagoon

After the Oyster Rally cleared out, we sailed over to a beautiful spot called Bavatu Harbour. We had it all to ourselves and found a nice hike up to a stunning lookout back over the Bay of Islands. It was absolutely magical, even if we did have to endure a rain shower to enjoy the view. Back on Starry Horizons, we continued around east side of the Inner Lagoon to an island called Susui. There we got two special treats. First, the chief allowed us to film the entire sevu sevu ceremony! And second, our friends Lewis and Alyssa from s/v Quixotic managed to sail in just in time for us to hang out once more! It was the perfect way to wrap up our time in Vanua Balavu.
