But before we could sail north for another cruising season in the South Pacific, there were a couple of things left on our New Zealand to-do list. Little Dipper (our tender) needed some TLC, there were more hikes to do and we were finally able to cross off the top item on Amy's wish list: the Waitangi Treaty Grounds Hāngi and Concert. I know we keep saying we did a lot awesome things in New Zealand, but the Hāngi and Concert was right up there near the top of the list. It was a great cultural evening and we both really enjoyed learning more about Māori culture. Being elected Chief for the evening didn't hurt either!
