This 55 Expedition Motorsailer is a no nonsense” design by Ted Hood and built as his last “ROBIN.” She is a world cruiser that has the speed and range capability of a motorsailer, combined with the sailing characteristics of any other of Ted Hood-designed performance bluewater sailboat. A wolf in sheep’s clothing, she is luxurious and comfortable below decks, while on deck she is “all business” with a protected pilothouse and low-maintenance exterior ready to take on the elements. ROBIN is easily handled by one competent sailor, with remotes for all her electric furlers and five electric winches.
