#192 New Ratio Blues!

In this episode I practice with the new transmission and the old propellor! However, i really don't like revving up the engine like what is shown. Am I being too delicate? The engine is 35 years old....and only 34 hp. I know diesel engines like to run high....carbon buildup is produced when they don't go all out. However, I just feel like the engine revving is too much. In fact, the engine temp did rise with the intense maneuvering at short bursts of rpm. Is that normal? I guess I need to take the prop off and adjust the pitch. What do you think? Please watch and comment!
