17 - Goodbyes and boat work in Raiatea

In this video, we assess the catamaran for any damage after the squall. We then head to the dock in Uturoa (Raiatea) where we restore the alternating current power supply following the failure of one of the two inverters on board. Rob, Cecilia, and Josh fly back to California, leaving us with the boat! Rob will return in a few weeks to continue our voyage. After a dinghy scouting mission, we then move Amanecer off the dock and into a nice sandy anchorage where we hang with pufferfish, rays, and a shark! Before having too much more fun, we get down to some serious boat work: - filling up water and running the water maker - doing the boat laundry, and getting the propane tank filled - cleaning up a sneaky soda explosion - finding a grey water leak.
