15 - Bora Bora part 2: Hikes and history

In this video, we continue our exploration of Bora-Bora with Sailing Vessel Amanecer. We head to shore after some morning boat chores and find a view point on a hill. We discuss the strange phenomenon of how the island breaks up the steady wind, and turns it into powerful gusts on the leeward side of the mountains. We move the boat to a new mooring near the Bora Bora Yacht Club, where we go for a little walk down the road, and then chill out to play some pool and have a drink. Next we head up the hill and see some old gun emplacements that were installed for the Pacific campaign in the second world ward. Thanks for watching!
