Stromboli welcomes us with one explosion after the other in the dark of the night. What a spectacular view yet very daunting to think that some of that hot lava becomes airborne and travels quite far with each eruption and could easily land on Sisu. So we kept our distance and watched the awesome display of colors with eruption. We also learn how they make paper from clothing.
