Sundog Sailing got an awesome perspective to watch the RORO "roll on roll off" come into port and tie up. Those tugs do quite the job turning the ship around for a starboard tie. Wow, how much fun to watch these guys work!

SoTa activation in nord-Trøndelag. We walked over some wetland to get to the top. The condition on 20m was not the best. We managed to get our four QsO for activation on Gaukhaugan 580 moh. On our trip to the south of Norway 🚎

SoTa activation, Summit on the air in a Windy day. Hårskallen Norway. Zkipper the Puffindog are dogtype that know how to seek shelter and sits whith the back against the wind. 🐕 Thanks to the chasers for another activation an a short visit on this top 📡

Il nome del progetto che ho voluto per il mio primo viaggio è TRI. Spesso confondono il nome del progetto collegandolo al tipo di barca che ho utilizzato per la prima navigazione ovvero, un TRImarano. In realtà volevo semplicemente onorare il mio paese, l'Italia ed il suo TRIcolore. In questo video trovi alcune e sopratutto primissime immagini del trimarano scelto per quello che poi diventerà il primo Giro d'Italia compiuto in solitaria da parte di un navigatore con disabilità motorie. Queste immagini sono girate a Sestri Levante, in Liguria nei primi giorni di gennaio 2017. Ma da dove nasce l'idea del progetto TRI? Tutto si collega con il mio battesimo in barca a vela, con il sogno di tornare nel posto dove tutto è iniziato, di tornarci partendo dalle mie terre d'origine, in barca a vela e sopratutto in Solitaria. Attraversare l'Atlantico per tornare ai Caraibi, chi non vorrebbe farlo? Io ho pure una motivazione in più e qualche ostacolo da superare ma non mollo! Hello and welcome to the Sailing and Cruising the East Coast of the United States podcast. This is part 2 of a two-part interview with Heath Moldveen, whose boat sank this past summer during tropical storm Ida. Heath Moldveen, is a technical sales rep for Sea Hawk Premium Yacht Finishes and was also a guest in Episodes 43 and 44 where we discussed anti-fouling paints. In this episode, Heath and I discuss his adventure this past summer when his boat sank at the dock during tropical storm Ida. He received the dreaded phone call from the marina early in the morning. The voice on the other end said, “your boat has sunk”. It’s something no one wants to hear. Heath and I discuss how he bought the boat back from the insurance company, his plans to get it fixed up, and what’s next. Lots of good tips and lessons learned in this episode and in part 1.
