Chris and I did our first dive together at night with Eco Dive in Flamingo Bay. Depth at bottom of dive was approximately 58'. We stayed below the surface for 58 minutes. We sailed a cross Stadt that is a rough area on the Norwegian coast and came to the mystical Island Selja. Selja Abbey was a Benedictine monastery located on the island of Selja in the municipality of Stad, Vestland, Norway. The legend says that Sunniva was the heir of an Irish kingdom who had to flee from a heathen king. She fled to island of Selja where she died. It was the location of the original shrine of Saint Sunniva and for that reason was a place of pilgrimage, and also the seat of a bishopric and a cathedral dedicated to Saint Michael, established about 1070.

There was a gentle breeze for the afternoon sail and Lift Off set of with John and Eric with guest Paul, followed by Satyr with Tony and Steve. Pontoon Charlie to see them all off was Dave who took the video of the two boats sailing away. The rest of the photos were taken from Steve. Ann had never sailed and said she was nervous and as the pictures show, she sailed with confidence under the guidance of Tony and Steve. Likewise Paul hadn't sailed before and he too got aboard and enjoyed this sail. Just what we like, happy smiling taster guests enjoying their sail.
