Our imaginations soon turned into interests and those interests grew like a weed. We began reading books, watching videos, and practicing knots. Before we knew it we were signing up for sailing lessons and taking offshore sailing courses. Last year we started looking at boats for sale. Now, nearly 6 years later, we are proud owners of the beautiful vessel, Moon Drifter. Moon Drifter is an extremely well taken care of and maintained single owner catamaran. Her Previous owners, Ralph and Helen, purchased her brand new in 2008 and sailed her seasonally throughout the Sea of Cortez up until they handed over the lines to us in 2021. We sold our house and most of our belongings to move to a foreign country where our sailboat is currently floating. A missed flight landed us at the TWA Hotel connected to JFK Airport in New York City. We stayed at the Radisson Hotel on Grand Anse Beach in Grenada West Indies waiting for our boat launch date.
