Il mio secondo Giro d'Italia l'ho fatto con il mio caro amico Igor Macera. Abbiamo percorso circa 1800nm (circa 3300km) in 99 giorni e con 45 tappe. La velocità media è stata compresa tra i 2,5 e i 3 knt, una vera tortura in alcuni momenti, ma la barca decisamente appesantita e dal forte scarroccio, non ha permesso navigazioni veloci, probabilmente le condizioni ideali le abbiamo trovate solo un paio di volte. In un paio di occasioni abbiamo volato attorno ai 6knt, in una addirittura abbiamo toccato i 8,2knt con... La barca: di nome TORNAVENTO, è uno sloop di poco sotto i 10metri, pescaggio 1 metro per 3,30 m di baglio massimo ed un peso complessivo di circa 4 ton. La propulsione è solamente a Vela e/o Elettrico. NESSUN IDROCARBURO, nessun generatore diesel/benzina.
