I get my 48V charger connected to the battery and see if it will charge it properly. I'm not going to lie, I have been putting this off for weeks but now with an empty battery after testing, I have no choice!! I make a nice connector and test to see if the charger will detect the battery voltage and auto switch off the charger. next project is to make something that will pull my jib sheet down from the cockpit. I had some heavy steel balls doing nothing so I decided to use one of these to put a weight on the jib halyard and hopefully it would help drop the sail when released. 00:00 The first charge 01:45 Extending the cable. 04:42 Adding a weight to the jib sheet 07:23 The charger works!

Another epic day at Ni'ihau! While there weren't many sharks around, the monk seals were very active and curious. We got to witness one of the longest monk seal fights (to defend territory) I've ever seen plus the usual awesomeness of critters and bathymetry.
